What’s good community? On this week’s episode of the Rad Chats podcast, we sit down with one of my favorite creators in the 2A space, Melanie, or Bookish Pinay as she’s known on Instagram.

As you’ll hear, Melanie is fully immersed in the community and lifestyle, as she aims to create content aimed at making the 2A space more inclusive and welcoming for all, but especially women, and in her free time works as a certified range safety officer at her local range.

During our conversation, Melanie and I get into her love of books, the process of getting your license to carry as well as becoming a range safety officer, her photographic influences, inclusion in the 2A community, and the importance of knowing your why.
